Vintage romance bridal shower for my bestie!

I've been busy happily planning my bestie's bridal shower the past several months. As with anything that requires extensive planning of so many moving pieces, the big day is full of excitement, anticipation, and stress! I've done a few kiddie parties and showers, but this was a whole different ballpark of a shower! We only had a space -- tables, chairs, linens -- everything had to be done on our own! I'm fortunate to have a spectacular team of bridesmaids to work with -- without their help and patience, my crazy vision would not have come true!!!

Here are some pics of the shower...

The table setting and decor.

We made our own blooms out of coffee filters. A pretty feather finished off the look. I bought the jars on clearance from Michael's and dyed them in pink and teal to give them a vintage feel. That's my little Audrey over there! :)

Table runners were created out of large pieces of burlap cut freehand.

Strawberry iced tea, yums. :) Starbucks frap jars are my favorites for any party along with some striped straws. Washi tape were used to create the flags.

Wooden utensils were all stamped with polka dot pattern and wrapped together with lace and glitter twine.

The favors all packaged up and housed in my vintage wooden crates

The favors were filled with mini pizzelles I made the night before. Aren't they pretty? (Pic snapped with my iPhone)

Final parting shot.. funny fact, I picked up these Hennessey bottles on the streets. They were probably trashed by some drunkard the night before. After they were cleaned and dyed, they're perfect!

I had a blast planning this shower! Thanks to the girls for bearing with my Nazi-ness throughout the entire process! :) And of course, congratulations again to my Pea! Love you forever.
