I chose to work with the Sun and Cloud border die. It is 12" long, perfect length!
I haven't created a layout in awhile so I wasn't very confident when I got started. I just had a vague idea of what I wanted to do... as a matter of fact, that's how 99% of my projects start out -- blank. I'm not really a sketcher/planner... I just go with the flow, see where my creativity takes me. It's not a very time efficient process, but it's worked out for me so far I think.
Here is the result of my tinkering around aimlessly...
How adorable is that cloud die?! I promised myself I wouldn't hoard pretty paper anymore, so I broke out Allison Kreft's new paper line Everyday Eclectic from Echo Park! A match made in heaven if I do say so myself. :)
And because of my inner hoarder, I couldn't bear to trash the negative cuts, so I created a card with it. It makes for a very fun scallopy border!
Oh gosh, Krssyi - there is so much to love about both of these projects! The little Instax photo is so cute and even though it's small, you really drew the eye to it and made it the focal point. And the cloud die is awesome! I love the way you used the excess on a card (I am right there with you on being a hoarder - I save lots of scraps!). Gorgeous projects!
