Ella's party favor

Hiyas, as promised I'm showing you the favors I created for Ella's first birthday party last, last weekend. I know, I am always so tardy. Ella got sick on her birthday (11/5) and is still sick - runny nose, coughing, pink eye, double ear infection, throwing up, you name it! As with every sickness in this little household, it doesn't take long to spread to other members. Daddy was sick for a week, I've been coughing my lungs out for the last 4 or 5 days. Thankfully though, Audrey only contracted the pink eye, which was very mild and a little coughing, nothing nearly as bad as what the little birthday girl had to endure.

So, on to my project.... I didn't want to do the conventional goody bags as favors, cause honestly, as a parent, as soon as we get home, that goody bag ends up in the trash can. I'm sure I can't be alone so I went the "useable" favor route -personalized tees for all the kiddies, and it was a huge hit with the adults and kiddies!!!

I started by creating the 'Hello' labels on Photoshop, printing them onto t-shirt transfer papers, trimming them and then organizing them all over the floor.

Then the tedious part of ironing on the t-shirt transfers. This required a lot of heat and pressure.

The finished product!

All lined up!

Finally, all the tees were tucked into these bags with personalized tags that can double as bookmarks.

The kids loved them, SEE? They couldn't wait to put them on after the party, lol!

And of course it was part of the birthday girl's birthday outfit!

With a little extra something... :)

Whew, thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed the pics!
