Sorry...

... for being such a bad blogger.

I haven't been online or crafting much the past month (except for the madness of the last post). Ella has been really bad at night. I've been waking up every 2 hours or one hour every single night for the last month. I'm exhausted and burnt out. I have to drag myself out of bed for every feeding and have to be up every morning around 6am cause she's up and I have to keep her quiet as to not wake daddy or Audrey. Then when she's ready to fall back asleep after an hour, it's time for Audrey to get up and get ready for school. By the time I put Audrey on the school bus, I'm praying that Ella is ready to sleep again so I can get some rest.

These newborn nights can be so difficult... when will she sleep through the night? Please don't let it be 3 years and 3 months like her sister!

  4. I feel with you, Kryssi! Sleep deprivation IS THE hardest thing! I hope Ella will give you some rest, soon! Wow, Audrey needed 3 years to find her sleeping pattern!?! And you really wanted a second Baby? After a little more than one year of sleep deprivation I gave up the thought of a second one :)
    Big Hugs to you!

  10. all i can say is i got used to sleep deprivation and when i got too much, i was actually more tired (if you can believe that). my 2nd one never slept through the night til he was 2ish. always wanting to have his milk every 3 hrs, then every 5 hrs. maybe she's on a growth spurt. hang in there--i know it's hard! i feel your pain.

  11. my 5 month old wakes up every two hours on the dot. He wakes up to eat -- he eats 4-6 oz then goes back to bed instantly. And he's not a fat kid, either. Some people think "aw, now he's conditioned that way", but I really do think he's hungry. And hungry again. And hungry again. So, when I'm waking every two hours, I"ll think of you and hope that it is your time to sleep :) There is comfort in numbers, right?
