Baby gift set

I don't know about you, but I started stamping because I wanted to make personalized gifts for family and friends... and myself too! I have a few friends who only craft for special occasions - bridal showers, baby showers, party favors, invitations, and the above mentioned gifts.

My very good friend finally had her baby (aka Ella's future BFF) last week. We're so excited to visit her on Saturday. I bought these onesies awhile ago knowing that I wanted to stamp on them. Btw, I love the onesies made by SpaSilk, they are so thick, soft and luxurious. Ella wears them all the time. Anyways, they take ink really well too! I conjoured up a whole slew of stamp sets for this teeny project.

Here's what it took:
  • Hero Arts Alphabets
  • Papertrey Baby Button Bits
  • Papertrey Inside and Out: Baby
  • Papertrey Tiny Treats: Valentine
  • Papertrey Fancy Flourishes
  • Papertrey Background Basics: Tin Types
  • Sassafras Borders
I'm so glad I started on this last week because I am not one to pull out so many different stamp sets and other tools when I sit down and make a card. I had to use almost everything! My nifty Purple Cows trimmer, Scor-Pal, Glue Glider, Tombow adhesive, white gel pen, Cuttlebug, rhinestones, and my pre-cut felt from the last batch!

Okay, enough gibberish from me! Here are the pics!

The stamped onesies...

And yes, that's a felt button that I made myself! Isn't the dino as the letter "O" super cute from Tiny Treats: Valentine?

The standard card...

The packaged set...

Yay! I'm very pleased with it and hopefully baby Anabelle will be too!

PS: I'm trying to expand my challenge experience by trying different ones, at least once. I came across this challenge and this baby set certainly works. (Great blog by the way. The guy has talent!) So my project is not entirely 'spring-ish', but I believe babies are a wonderful representation of this blooming season! So, here is my CRAFT.
C - cardstock. duh.
R - rhinestones.
A - alphabets.
F - felt.
T - tiny treats: valentine
