Pocket Card

I had a wee bit of time this morning and since I am semi-done with my Hero Arts projects, I decided to participate in the latest "pocket" challenge. When I first read it on the blog Monday morning, I have to admit I was stumped and wasn't interested in participating and was glad I had the other projects to keep me away from this one. But here I am twiddling my thumbs, the first thing that came in my head were tea bags, but then again that concept has been done many times over. So, I did a quick flip through my new stamps and the trees called to me!

I did a little masking (trees), manual cutting (the scallop borders), stitching, punching, embossing (trees again), coloring with baby oil and prismacolor pencils, and paper piercing! Wow, that is a lot jammed into one little 4.25x5.5 card! There's a bit of everything here and I'm pretty sure I went a tad overboard but I kinda like how it came out.

Here is the pull-out of the pocket

Stamps: Hero Arts Elephants, Scallop Borders, Hello Circles, Anytime Messages, Just Wanted, PTI Polka Dot Basics
Ink: CTMH Chocolate, PTI Fresh Snow, Versamark
Paper: PTI Select White, Dark Chocolate, Kraft, Ocean Tide, Sweet Blush
