A Muse Wreath

The reason for the constant background change is because I simply cannot decide. That's all. I wasn't trying to be fancy, lol. This is only temporary until we get version 2.0 up and running. We are working on it as a team, so please bear with my color changing indecisiveness for now.

So, with the PSA out of the way, onto the cards, shall we?

I posted yesterday that today's post will be a goody. I fibbed.

No really, I really do love these two cards. I wavered back and forth on whether I should buy this wreath... I'm so glad I bit the bullet. Simple yet great as a focal image with so many possibilities.

I should've used a dark background for this shot. But, it's matted on ivory, if you look closely you'll see it on the top and bottom - complete with score lines. I used liquid pearls for the berries.

Here is card number two. It doesn't show, but I clear embossed the Merry & bright sentiment, gives it a nice glossy shine to complement the red berries, which sparkles as well - courtesy of stickles.

Stamps: A Muse Wreath, Hero Arts Fantastic Flourishes, PTI Mixed Messages, PTI Take a Bough
Other: Liquid Pearls, Scor-Pal, Christmas Red Stickles, Clear Embossing Powder

Proof that Audrey is watching too much Dora and Diego? She wanted me to open something, she said "abrer", which means open in Spanish. Being multi-lingual is cool and all (and I strongly encourage it), but considering her English vocab is as limited as it is, I would prefer her work on that first.

And finally, I want to wish my LL, Sarah a happy birthday! Love you!

  5. Hi Kryssi - Love the cards, but the top one especially. The flourish behind the focal point is really great, and love the embossing. I'm in your new blogger group and have added you to my list. Dru
