I am posting with the husband and kid all over me... literally. He has his arms draped around me while Audrey is cuddled in between us with a bottle of Capri Sun juice. And we're all in bed, lol.
Here's the frame that I referred to in my last post. I first stamped the floral images. Then I used Tim Holtz's distress inks. I used Linen first then distressed Walnut over that. I'm not sure if this was the look that I intended because I was a little heavy handed with the Walnut, but it sure caught my husband's attention when he walked past it. He said "whoa, what is that? it's nice!" :)
So, here is my little Audrey at birth, just a wee 5 pounder.
I got my very inexpensive macro lenses this weekend, so now I am able to take close up shots, like such!
It is so easy to personalize your precious keepsakes. You should all try it!
Stamps: PTI Beautiful Blooms, JustRite stamps
Other: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, Tim Holtz Distress inks
Since we're on the baby topic, a warm congrats to my childhood friend, Angela on her new bundle of joy. I love the name Ellie. In fact, it was a name I tossed around with Audrey. I'm more of a formal name person, so I was trying to think of names that started with "El" so I could call her "Ellie" for short; I only came up with Elenor, Ella, and Elle. Anyhow, inspired by the booties posted by Melyssa, I whipped this up for Ellie.
These little things are so stinkin' cute... and apparently real looking because Audrey tried to shove her 3x as large foot in there.
That is so sweet...I love it!
